Cheater Beater

This is a classic Brick Breaker game which the player must smash a wall of bricks by deflecting a bouncing ball with a paddle. The paddle can be move horizontally and is controlled with the left and right arrow keys. The value of each brick is randomly generated and the Player Scores by hitting the brick with the ball. If the ball misses the paddle the player will lose a life from a total of three lives. When all lives are depleted, the user will be shown a Game over Screen highlighting their score. The game is over when all bricks are cleared from the screen.

Controls:

Left arrow – Move left.

Right arrow -Move right.

Game over Criteria:

Zero lives remaining or All bricks Cleared.

Other features:

The user can design their own level by altering the values in the face.txt file within the set parameters of 12 letters per line and 16 lines total and only using letter featured in the key below

Colour Key:

x = Green.

p = Violet.

r = Red;

b = Black;
